4 not 5 because of food selection and my picky kids. The service was super accommodating for a large family of English speaking, picky eaters. The venue was awesome and they have a ton of trails. We saw 10+ deer as we walked. They also have a small but useful play ground for kids.

Successful conclusion for a small Black Forest trip! Nice mill with a casual atmosphere. The menu is small and consists only of snacks, including sour beans, sausage salads and hot sausages always in combination with freshly baked, still warm, farmhouse bread! The price for two comes with a cyclist for less than 20 €, that's more than fair.

Best Vesper parlor in the area. Is super quiet, idyllic. Also great for families with children. Right and left meadow and trees. Goats and chickens can also be seen. The old mill wheel looks great too 👍. The food is great. The bacon is delicious. The bread is freshly baked and smells. Have fun and enjoy your meal 😁

For me it is always a point of contact when I have guests from afar. Black Forest pure idyll and the food is also delicious. The 5th star is missing here because there is unfortunately little choice for hot food, e.g. Schnitzel with bread would be great 😉

Urgemütlicher guest room, fantastically beautiful beer garden, delicious Black Forest Vespers and nice team. Sometimes there are longer waiting times, when it is really full. But we gladly accept that.

Delicious food and very cozy

We have been to family celebrations several times and enjoyed the delicious ham in the bread dough. Highly recommended, but there are only for larger groups and to order. The salads were very delicious. Very friendly service and idyllic location.

We are very often in the warm season for many years ago. A small idyllic place to unwind. Friendly service, price performance everything fits. We will be back, promised !!!!

A rustic snack bar along the valley path, but also other paths invite you to eat hearty dishes and cool drinks with a beautiful view. Friendly, fast, cheap.
